The Soča Pikant spicy spread joins the family of Soča spreads. Like the Soča spread, the spicy spread is made from smoked rainbow trout, which is prepared for us at the fish farm Faronika in Tolmin, owned by the Tolmin Fishing Family, and Tolmin cottage cheese, made at the Mlekarna Planika dairy. The basic ingredients of the spread also include: sour cream, mustard, olive oil and spices, among which cayenne pepper and hot red peppers are predominant in the spicy spread.
Soča spicy spread is slightly reddish in color and has a thick consistency with visible small particles of fish and hot peppers. When tasting, we first notice the taste of the fish, and the spicy part is expressed only at the end. Soča spread is produced fresh regularly, as it is completely free of additives such as preservatives and stabilizers.
The product is pasteurized and is intended for direct consumption, but is not suitable for individuals with hypersensitivity to mustard seeds, dairy products or fish.
The Soča Pikant spicy spread is packed in 150 g containers.
