CHEESE WITH HEMP

It is an innovative product on the Slovenian market, made from non-homogenized, pasteurized whole milk and Slovenian organic industrial hemp. It has a soft, elastic texture. Cross-section has no eyes in or they are small and rare. It ripens for 21 days, under controlled conditions on wooden shelves. Handpicked tips of organic industrial hemp go well to our cheese and add to its flavour.

A wheel of cheese weighs about 600 g.

Industrial hemp tips are grown at the Ileršič Organic Farm in the Notranjska Regional Park, surrounded by forests and far away from industry and motorways. Industrial hemp fields are located at an altitude of 530m.

The whole process, from picking, sorting, drying, and crushing, is done manually. This increases the control of processing operations and ensures the highest quality.
