As in the past, Mlekarna Planika Kobarid is still acquiring a significant share of milk today on its own organic Bogata estate in Bovec. Our organically certified estate in Bovec is important for the production of organic milk for our organic local products from Soča valley. The work of Mlekarna Planika is based on the millennia-old tradition of dairy and cheese making in the Soča Valley, where livestock could always be seen on pastures. We are convinced that without the love of animals, the mountains here, the valley, and without respect for the tradition of our ancestors, our activities could not be performed as well as we and the farmers here do.
