The Kefir of Mlekarna Planika is now also filled into 150 g containers. These containers are full of life! Kefir boasts several different microorganisms, such as lactic acid bacteria and yeasts. Yeasts are capable of producing significantly more carbon dioxide than lactic acid bacteria, so kefir packaging often bulges on top. The cultures in it remain alive even after kefir is filled into containers that are stored in the refrigerator, so they continue to produce gases.
Containers of kefir are available in the Mlekarna Planika store in Kobarid, in all Tolmin Agricultural Cooperative stores and in Agraria, Fama, and Mlinotest stores.
