It is the Soča River that gave us inspiration for the creation of the Soča cheese, as it combines the taste “from Soča to the mountains”. We added the selected pieces of smoked trout, prepared by the Faronika Tolmin fish farm. Faronika d.o.o. breeds fish in Tolmin, at the confluence of the Soča and Tolminka rivers. Never-ending sufficient quantity of clean, fast running water makes it possible to breed the best fish.

Due to the species of fish in Faronika, they are targeting a high price range, persuading customers with fresh trout, trout fillets, and trout caviar, and aiming to provide smoked fish to consumers. The processing volumes are not large, but they are high quality. And high quality is also the main goal in the production of our products.
