In November 2018, Planika Dairy presented a certification process for obtaining the Local Quality Label. The procedure was expertly explained by Mr. Marko Mayer from Bureau Veritas Certification Authority. Ga. Barbara Rupnik from the Dairy Section at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia said that consumers are also increasing the emphasis on food quality. The Local Quality label, which is carried by all products of Planika Dairy, assures the consumer, that the milk is 100% produced and processed in Slovenia. All suppliers are also controlled, as confirmed by Mr. Marko Lapanja, a farmer from the Soča Region, who sells his milk to our dairy. He explained that he processes and sells his milk to the Planika Dairy under the label Quality of Slovenia.
